Unifying a complex web ecosystem into a scalable platform
Brand design and creative • Web design and development
The Challenge
Public Interest Registry (PIR) managed a complex ecosystem of over nine disparate websites, each serving different business channels with unique goals. Maintaining these separate platforms was inefficient, and content lacked cohesion. PIR needed a single, scalable solution that streamlined content strategy, reinforced their brand messaging, and provided a stable foundation for future growth.
The Solutions
We led an extensive content strategy and taxonomy effort, working closely with PIR’s internal teams to consolidate and organize thousands of pages. This process ensured every business channel’s needs were met while creating a unified, intuitive experience for global users.
To replace PIR’s fragmented web properties, we designed and developed a custom WordPress website built for long-term scalability and security. With over 2,500 pages of content, the new platform provides a seamless experience, modernized brand messaging, and a centralized content management system that simplifies updates while integrating robust security measures to prevent threats.
Our ongoing support ensures stability, performance, and proactive protection against potential vulnerabilities.
We developed a design system that aligned PIR’s visual identity across all digital touchpoints. The UX/UI approach prioritized accessibility, clarity, and ease of navigation, ensuring a user-first experience that supports PIR’s global mission-driven organizations.
The Outcomes
We built a world-class, custom WordPress website consolidating over 2,500 pages of content into a seamless experience. By unifying nine previously disconnected websites, PIR now has a scalable, easy-to-manage platform that aligns internal brand messaging with external priorities, improving engagement and operational efficiency.
The UX/UI approach prioritized accessibility, clarity, and ease of navigation, ensuring a user-first experience that supports PIR’s global mission-driven organizations.
